What Foods Burn Fat


All weight loss programs should focus on maintaining muscle and burning away that unwanted body fat. In order to melt fat away without losing any muscle will require you to have proper nutrition.


Below is a list of some simple fat burning foods that will help you stay on track with your nutrition plan. These foods will not only help you burn fat but are also healthy and will provide your body with essential viatmins and minerals.

 

Proteins
This is the number one item on my list of foods that burn fat. Proteins can be found in lean meats such as chicken, turkey, tuna and other fish. Proteins help your body build muscle as well as releases glucagon which helps fight fat. burn fat faster

 

Egg Whites
Another great source of protein which contains virtually no fat. You can make so many things with eggs and are a quick and easy meal.

 

Green Vegetables
Green vegetables such as broccoli, letteuce, beans and celery are great becuase they contain fiber and essential vitamins. At least 3 of your daily meals should contain vegetables.

 

Low Fat Cottage Cheese
Another great source of protein. The protein found in this food is slow releasing and will help stabilise your blood sugar levels.

 

Oatmeal
This is a good soyrce of fiber. It is made up of complex carbohydrates which means that you will not get that sugar rush associated with other cereals. It is a great breakfast choice that will provide sustained energy throughout the day.


Oily Fish

Oily fish such as salmon contains lots of omega 3 oils which will help your body regulate its hormone levels and help you burn fat.

 

If you are serious about burning fat then you should add these great foods to your current diet. Protein is really important in the fight against fat and each of your meals should contain atleast 1 portion of one of the protein sources from the above list.
