Press ups are so easy to do, you can do them anywhere and do not need any equipment.

There are tons of different variations of this exercise you can do to work different angles of the chest, shoulder and triceps muscles.

Instructions

  1. Support your body on your toes with your arms straight, positioned under, and just a little wider than your shoulders.

  2. Breathe in and lower your body under control until your torso is just off of the floor.

  3. Hold this position for a split second.

  4. Push back up to the starting position so that your arms are straight. Keep the angle of your back contestant and your head forwards.

You should be aiming to use a full range of motion, go all the way down and come all the way up.

To encourage the stabilizer muscles of your torso more then a regular press up you can use a stabilizer ball to place your hands on. This will make the exercise twice as hard.
