Women often notice that its much harder for them to lose fat and keep it off then the men in their lifes. Some of this is genetic, as women require higher fat ratios in their bodies then men do. This is becuase of the role of a child bearer.
You cant just burn fat from your belly becuase your body likes to be even. You need to follow a routine that burns fat and tones your entire body.
Another problem is that most women have a natural fear about training with weights, and how their body will look if they start weight training.
The truth is, if you want to burn fat fast and look great then you will need to add some sort of resistance training into your home workouts.
Muscle burns fat becuase it is a metabollically active tissue. More muscle means a higher metabolic rate which will cause your body to burn more calories, even when you are not working out. 
By including intense weight training sessions into your training program you will increase the number of mitochondria in your muscle fibers. These convert nutrients into energy and therefore cause your body to burn more fat.
Training with weights is one of the best ways to lose fat fast and shape your body into the body of your dreams. Lifting weights dose not mean that you will become bulked up and muscle bound and this is a common misconception of weight training.

An intense weight training session will actual burn more calories then a cardio session and your body will continue to burn calories after your workout.
For up to 24 hours after leaving the gym, your body will burn more calories in its attempt to recover from your weight training workout. Another good example of how weight training helps you to lose the fat fast.
You can have a great fat burning weight training workout at home with a simple set of cheap dumbbells and a bench.
The best way to burn belly fat, is to combine a weight training program with high intensity cardio and a healthy diet plan.
