20 Minute Home Workout Plan For Fat Loss

Getting fit and healthy dose not require a gym membership and working out at home is a great way to stay in shape. In fact you do not need to spend hours working out to get a great body and you can achieve fantastic results in just 20 minutes.

 

In this 20 minute home cardio workout you will complete 5 separate parts of bodyweight exercises to make up the 20 minutes completing 4 minutes of each.


This workout is one of my favorites from www.BodyRock.tv and is demonstrated by Zuzana Light.


Below are 5 videos which demonstrate 5 parts of the workout. Each part is made of of 1 exercise being done in intervals totaling 4 minutes.


The intervals can be done as follows

 

Beginner: 15 Seconds Work - 15 Seconds Rest
Intermediate: 20 Seconds Work - 10 Seconds Rest
Advanced: 25 Seconds Work - 5 Seconds Rest


These intervals are not set in stone and feel free to adjust them to suit you. Don't be fooled though even the above 'beginner' workout is hard.


It is important to stick to the interval times to make this workout effective. Getting an interval timer can greatly help you stick to your home workout routine.


The 5 home workout exercises are as follows


Skipping With High Knees
Burpees
Jumping Lunges
Long Jumps
One Legged Hops

Try this home workout 2-3 times per week for about 4-6 weeks and you will notice that your fitness levels rapidly improve and the fat will start to melt off of you.


If you do not have access to a skipping rope then you can do the exercise without, however it will not be as effective.


For best results combine your home exercise routine with a healthy balanced fat loss diet which will give you the energy you need for your workouts and also accelerate your fat loss.
