Its now week 6 and i am half way through my 12 week home muscle building workout. I am getting to the piont now where im not actually having to plan my workout time in advance and i am almost accepting training as the daily norm.
So far i have not managed to add any extra cardio sessions in and have just been sticking to the 3 weight training workouts per week.
This week i have been surfing youtube looking for good motivational videos and came accross this one below.
In the video Vionce Delmonte explains something called the 7 day mental fast and it sounds very interesting. In fact i am going to attempt it next week.
As far as the training goes i have had a good week and have completed all the workouts. I dont really "feel" much diffrent however i have noticed with several of my t shirts that they are getting tighter under my arms, around the arm pit / chest area, so they have either shrunk in the wash or i have put on some muscle mass.
As far as supplements go i am still using just 2 protein shakes a day, my hope was to up this to 3 however i just dont have the money at the moment to increase my protein intake this way. In reality a tubv of good quality protein powder is inexpensive however when you have a family to support its an expense that i can do without at the moment.
My fitness levels have definately improved over the last few weeks and i have found that i have managed to increase the amount of weight that i lift for most exercises.
I took my daughter to Mcdonalds the other day and watched her eat a happy meal, it smelt so good but i didnt even have one of her fries. I am proud of myself as 6 weeks ago i would have demolished a Big Mac meal with extra fries.
Quick Measurements
Here are some quick measurements i took on Friday 13th May, i didnt have anyone to help me do the body fat percentage so i will do that maybe next week.
Waist: 36inches
Weight: 198lbs
According to the above figures i have lost only 3 lbs and lost 2inches on my waist. I would have thought that my actual bodyweight would have gone down more then that. I guess if i have built any muscle then that would account for more weight. I will be able to tell when i do the bodyfat percentage.
