These adverts are often combined with spectacular before and after photos which look to good to be true.


The adverts often use phrases like “scientifically proven” and “the secret professionals use”. These are strategically placed and designed to enforce confidence and make you reach for your credit card.

I'm sorry, but it just isn't possible to gain 10 pounds of muscle in 3 days.


The only way to do it may be to artificially graft on additional muscles using some space-age surgical procedure, which unfortunately dose not exist, and if it did would be cheating, but would build fast muscles.


Whatever the ads promise you; you shouldn't believe them. Supplement companies belong to a multi billion dollar industry and make money from suckers buying into the ads.


All of these ads, magazines, and web sites are nothing more than a multi-billion dollar scam and the perpetrators are the supplement industry.


Here's what this multi-billion dollar industry does: On a daily basis, it puts out these advertisements, complete with fake testimonials and flimsy research showing how their supplements are the best and how they can help you gain 10 pounds of muscle in a relatively short time.


In reality, it's all a big scam.


While some of the supplements on the market are good, even those won't allow you to gain 10 pounds of muscle in a few days.


Even the best supplements cannot replace hard work in the gym, and that's the truth.


You need utilize sound research, not phony testimonials, to decide if a supplement delivers, be it a promise to gain 10 pounds of muscle or burn fat at thrice the natural rate.


If such a supplement did exist, wouldn't everyone know about it and trainers everywhere recommend it?


You CAN gain 10 pounds of muscle, but it won't happen in 3 days.


Follow this regimen: Go to the gym regularly, train all parts of your body scientifically, overload your workouts progressively, eat right, and rest well; pretty soon you won't just gain 10 pounds of muscle, but much more and will build fast muscle.

When looking at these advertisements and testimonials, use common sense and take them with a pinch of salt, because most of the testimonials are inaccurate or scripted.

In actuality, though, the tests were probably done on rats or mice, and you can't relate the data from this trumped-up research to humans.
