Home Body Weight Circuits For Fat Loss

You do not need fancy gym equipment to get a good fat burning workout. Bodyweight exercises are often under rated and under used by many people who seem to rely on the latest gym machine or t.v advertised rip off.

I have recently stubbled across several really effective body weight workouts which do not need any equipment and can be done in the comfort of your own home, garden, gym just about anywhere you like.


Circuit training is the moving from one exercise to another usually in a continuous fashion or with little rest in between. Once all exercises are done then this is one circuit completed.


One of the best body weight circuits is then one i have featured below. The video is by Vince Delmonte who i rate highly as a personal trainer. He may not be the biggest person in the world but his methods work and i have used them.

 

You can get a great workout anywhere and any time, whether its on your spare hour at lunch, after work, while you are at home with the kids. There is now no excuses for not training.


This home workout consists of 6 different exercises. Its not the exercises themselves that make this workout so effective but the combination of all 6 with the speed and intensity you do them.


If 6 exercises is too many for you to start with then you could do 5 or 4. The goal is to complete 3-5 sets in the following way.

15 Seconds 'ON'
15 Seconds 'OFF'

So for each bodyweight exercise you will do as many reps as you can for 15 seconds. Rest for 15 seconds then repeat for the next exercise.

  1. Push Ups
  2. Mountain Climbers
  3. Hip Thrusters
  4. High Knees
  5. Squats
  6. Jump Squats

If you stick to the times then each of the body weight circuits should last for 3 minutes. If you do 3 sets then you can get a great fat busting workout in under 10 minutes.

You can customize the workout by changing the exercises and vary the intensity by either increasing the 'On' time and/or decreasing the 'OFF' time.


This home workout will work for everyone because its based on your intensity level. Push yourself and try and beat the total number of reps you do each week.

For best results you should be aiming to train 3-4 times per week combined with a lower calorie diet. This will cause the fat to melt off of your body revealing a flat firm stomach.
