Who will Benefit from this program?
Everyone will benefit from all ages and all walks of life. The BFL program is totally generic and is suited for everyone.
How hard is the program to follow?
The program is a challenege and sees you cardio training for 20minutes 3 x a week and 45mins of weight training 3 x a week as well as sticking to proper healthy eating.
What exactly is healthy eating?
Basically all you have to do it pick a portion of protein from the list and a portion of carbohydrate and you have a meal. More information on dieting can be found here.
I am a women and scared of getting massive muscles?
This is a common misconception of weight training. Training with weights will help you lose fat and tone that flab you will not start looking like a female bodybuilder as you will not be eating massive amounts of food and will not be taking steroids. You will however get that sexy toned look.
The body for life challenge can be completed as part of your home workouts. To do the routine you will need to be able to do interval cardio training and weight training, so you will need access to a bench and set of dumbbells at the very minimum.
The body for life challenge originally started as a contest published in Muscle Media magazine and was started by Bill Phillips as a way to introduce bodybuilding to the average person.

The first annual Body for Life competition was held in 1996. (It was then called the "EAS Grand Spokesperson Challenge".) Entrants write about their experience of the program, and send this to EAS along with their 'before' and 'after' swimsuit photos. Prizes vary each year, but in 2005 the first prize was $ 100,000.
Body for Life challenge makes use of principles that have been widely known in bodybuilding. Its differences are in the way it has been packaged and marketed so as to appeal to consumers and be understood by the public.
