Dumbbell Bent Over Rows

Dumbbell rows are a great exercise for developing your back muscles and will help you create that wide back V shape that is sought after. By using dumbbells rather then a barbell for this back exercise you work each side of your back individually.

Instructions

  1. Grasp a dumbbell in each hand and bend your knees slightly. Bend forward at the waist, keeping your head up and back straight.
  2. Let the weights hang at arms length.
  3. Lift both dumbbells up as far as possible to your sides, whilst holding your upper body steady.
  4. Lower the weights and perform again.


It is important to pull with your lats and let your back do the work rather then your biceps. This is a great exercise for developing your back muscles.
