The training programs used in the day of Arnold Schwarzenegger were very high in volume using the basic compound exercises to build large muscle groups.
This workout is NOT for you if:
- You have to much stress in your life - Your diet is rubbish - You cant get a minimum of 8 hours sleep each night - You hate muscle soreness - You are not immortal The Workout
Bench Press Chin Ups (total of 50 reps) Leg Raises (5 sets of 25 reps)
Tuesday & Friday - Shoulders - Arms - Abs Clean & Press Upright Rows (3 sets of 10, 6, 4 reps to failure) Barbell Curls Forearm Wrist Curls Incline Sit Ups (5 sets of 25 reps)
Wednesday & Saturday - Legs - Abs Squats Calf Raises Deadlifts (3 sets of 10, 6, 4 reps to failure) Leg Raises (5 sets of 25 reps)
You would have to be mad to consider trying this workout. It leaves no time for recovery and mere mortals like us would simply burn out and over train.
