Easy Abs Workout Routine For 6 Pack Abs

Getting 6 pack abs is not as difficult as you may think. You do not need to be able to do hundreds of sit ups or crunches in order to have a firm flat stomach.


The real secret to getting 6 pack abs is about your body fat percentage. Its not the number of sit ups you do that determines your washboard abs, its the percentage of body fat that you store.


If your body fat percentage is high then this layer of fat will cover your abdominal muscles and prevent them from showing through.


The easiest way to lower your body fat percentage is to combine a calorie controlled diet and a fat loss training routine.


Forget running for hours on end on a treadmill as there are more productive workouts you can do to shed that unwanted body fat.


Weight training is one of the best workouts you can do for burning fat. Resistance training places your body into fat burning mode and it will actually raise the rate that your body burns fat even the day after your workout. The following workout is in a circuit format. You will do one exercise, rest for 30 seconds and then the next exercise and so on.


Perform each exercise for 30 seconds doing as many reps as you can. You should pick a weight which gets very hard towards the end of your 30 seconds.


A stop watch or interval timer would be useful for this workout to keep the exercises and rest periods honest.

Burpees

Sit Ups
30 Seconds Rest
Hip Thrusters
30 Seconds Rest


After all exercises have been completed this is the end of the 8 minute abs workout routine. You can now rest a few minutes and repeat 2 or 3 more times for an intensive workout.


You could modify this workout routine to suit your own needs and if you train at home and don't have access to weights then you can use body weight exercises in stead.
